We cut all our pieces so the would be done ahead of time.  It is a good idea to have the shapes already cut then you don’t have to worry about little figures getting cut or frustrated.  My son and 8 yo helped me cut out the pieces.

You will need these shapes:

  • rectangle piece of construction paper to wrap around the paper roll
  • eyes
  • gobbler
  • beak
  • body
  • feet
  • tail feathers (we did brown, yellow and orange) afterward I thought a layer of red would be nice.

Directions:

  1. Wrap the brown rectangle around your paper towel roll
  2. Start gluing your tail feathers (staggered) so you can see the different colors
  3. Add those little Turkey Feet
  4. Add you Turkey’s body
  5. Add his gobbler and then the beak
