Book Review: Hannah and the Talking Tree by Elke Weiss

“Hannah and the Talking Tree” gives us a different view of the world and tells a story from another side.  This is a beautifully illustrated book by Elke Weiss and it introduces us to Hannah and how you don’t need big ears to hear what’s going on in the world around you; you just have to listen.

Hannah and the Talking Tree by Elke Weiss

My 6-year-old enjoyed this book, as did my two year old.  They were enthralled in all the colorful images.  She asked thoughtful questions and was concerned about the”Talking Tree.”

I know this is a children book, but it made me feel warm inside.  The message of how important the trees of our planet are and how the littlest girl can have the biggest voice is one I am more than happy to share with my children.

I definitely recommend this book for the young readers in your life.
